In an effort to keep stretching my photography wings while also attempting to keep this blog “up to date”, I’m going to try and start posting weekly photo updates of the week in review. Take a peek at what we’ve been up to this past week.

I feel like the best exercise I can do to help my photography is to take photos everyday. I started out a little late in the week so these aren’t organized but I’ll try to have daily recaps next week.

Here are the highlights from last week:

Ellie spent some time hanging with her best friend Cosmo aka my parents dog. They really are best friends – they are only about a month apart in age and Ellie goes bananas if you simply mention Cosmo’s name. It’s cute.

Jason took few pictures of me for a guest post I’m writing for the site Girls Actually.

Ellie wanted to be a part of the photoshoot.

I picked up a few books from the thrift store including one on ghost stories. My BFF Jess noticed there was a note hidden inside. I plan on writing more on this mystery in a future post.

I spotted a bird nest in the bush out front of my house.

The eggs are beautiful!

Over the weekend we tried out a new place for dinner – the Silver Queen Cafe. I had the lamb ragu which was delicious and everyone else at the table agreed that their dishes were on par. I can’t wait to stop in again.
