Last week started out busy before ending on a few lazy weekend days. Here’s the Weekly Photo Recap:

Back to work on Monday with plenty to do. I’ve been meaning to hit up the grocery store and plan some meals out for the week but I just haven’t made time. This was a not-so-decent excuse for me to eat Dunkin Donuts for breakfast.

A busy day after work included sushi for dinner and then games with friends. My apologies for the lack of photos! I think the day got the better of me.

It was another rainy morning but the sun popped out by afternoon. After work on Tuesday, my dad, Jason and I went to the park to watch my nephew play in one of his first Lacrosse games!

First, we took the dogs for a walk with my niece.

I had so much fun watching my nephew’s game (even though Eliie forgot all her manners)

I do not normally travel for work so it was a bit of a surprise to me when my company asked me to go to Philadelphia for a project. I was only in the city for a brief time but I had a delicious lunch at the very Brady retro restaurant Jones.

I was so sleepy from the rain on the way home that I popped into Yia Yia’s Bakery for a sweet pick me up.

There was a very insistent thunder storm all evening so I just curled up on the couch and caught up on a few Netflix shows.

Thursday was another wet and misty day. I saw the mama bird with a worm in her mouth outside the nest but she didn’t want to feed her little ones while I was still outside.

I snapped a few more pics of the babies before they left the nest for good.

It was dreary out all day but Ellie and I persevered on her walk. I loved the colors here.

Jason has been excited to write a few posts about his favorite hobby – rock climbing! I tagged along with him on Friday night to take some photos.

I like climbing as well but Jason is a beast! I would have to really commit if I ever wanted to catch up.

The laziest of mornings. A few weeks ago I talked about how pleasant my Saturday mornings are and this one was no exception.

We had to do a lot of couch cuddling before we finally got our shit together.

There is a bakery near me that I’ve passed a billion times but never went into. It’s only open until 1pm so we had to get our butts out of bed Sunday morning if we were ever gonna eat donuts. Ellie’s face licking finally convinced Jason to get up and we headed over to the Crumb’s Galore Bakery.

The food was so good, especially the donuts! I’ll have to stop in again soon and at an earlier time to get a look at their entire selection.

I spent the rest of the day finally catching up on laundry, cleaning and doing some meal prep. I feel so much better when I actually eat real food for lunch.

And that was the week! I played with my camera less than I would have liked but I’m working on some ideas. More to come soon.
