Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope everyone had a fun weekend filled with great food and even better company. Here’s how my past week went.
I fully admit to slacking on my photo-taking this week but it was mainly due to the lack of interesting subjects. I still managed a few nice shots thanks to the weekend.
MONDAY
It’s always a good time at my favorite Indian restaurant Bombay Nights. Obligatory food photos:
Jason ordered that delightful pink yogurt drink.
TUESDAY
We had a gnarly summer thunderstorm on Tuesday. I’d love to capture a beautiful lighting storm on camera one day.
WEDNESDAY
This week I ate SALAD and OATMEAL. WHO AM I?!?
THURSDAY
But then I ate a few beautiful glazed donuts the next day to keep myself grounded.
FRIDAY
Spent Friday night hanging out and visiting a friend at World of Beer.
SATURDAY
I spent Saturday night with all of my best friends over my parents house grilling and enjoying the amazing sunset.
Of course Ellie was there too.
There were fireworks shooting off in every direction. I did my best to capture some of them.
It was such a wonderful night filled with all of my favorite people.
SUNDAY
Sunday was cloudy but stayed dry all day. Jason, Ellie and I went for a hike/bike during the day.
On our walk, Ellie and I spotted a deer just hanging out in the clearing. Thankfully, we didn’t disturb her and I was able to take a quick photo.
And Jason started early sticking to his July goal of mountain biking!
Later on, we headed over to a friend’s house for a bonfire and fun with sparklers!
So that’s about all of the energy I could muster for this recap post. I hope everyone a great weekend. I’m going back to binge-watching Netflix shows now.
What was the highlight of your week?

Hi- So glad I found another Baltimore blogger! This weekend was perfect for hiking- I did the same!
Yesss. Thanks for checking out the blog!
That glazed donut looks so delicious! I really wish that we had the chance to do sparklers this Fourth of July, but we were in the country and didn’t buy anything! Your sparkler and fireworks picture turned out so pretty!
Thanks for the compliments!
I’m an equal opportunity donut-lover but a nice plain donut is sometimes all I need.
And I haven’t held a sparkler in years! It was a fun/cute little way to pass the time!
