It’s time to review what went well in the last month and set some goals for the weeks ahead. I’m ready, are you ready? Well too bad, we’re doing it anyways.
TAKE MORE PICTURES:
I took photos every day so I think I accomplished this. I still feel like I should be spending more time actively composing shots and learning how to work with my camera though.
START A NEW FEATURE:
I slacked on this. I came up with a different idea for the feature I initially had in mind but I haven’t got it off the ground. I will have to make sure to prioritize this first thing.
MEAL PLAN MY BUTT OFF, LITERALLY:
With the exception of weekend splurges, I’ve been eating a lot better. AND I meal planned EVERY SINGLE WEEK last month! I’m pretty proud of myself and I’m really finding my grove with the actual cooking part. I can’t wait to eat donuts all February long and then complain about it later!
SCHEDULE POSTS FOR NEXT MONTH
I’m feeling more organized than ever heading into February. The key to keeping up the momentum will be making sure I don’t fall behind. I have a vacation coming up so I want to make sure I plan accordingly.
STRUCTURE YEARLY OBJECTIVES
I have my posts organized and now I want to make sure I have a focus every month on what I want to accomplish. I want to pair the objectives of Also Coffee to those of French Toast Sunday so I can feel more confident that I’m not neglecting anything.
VISIT A BALTIMORE BUCKET LIST LOCATION
I want to make much more of an effort to be out and about in Baltimore this year. There are so many fantastic places and people that I want to get involved with. I want to attend more social events and try out new places whenever I can.
CONTINUE GETTING THIS SHOULDER TO 100%
Good news is this one is going well! I am not at 100% yet but it is getting better every day still! I am back to climbing regularly and am almost back to the level I was pre-breaking-myself haha.
GET BACK ON THE BIKE
Also a win! I haven’t been out as much as I’d like to but I was able to do some simple easy tracks at Loch Raven this past weekend. It felt awesome to be on the bike again and has me pumped to get out there more!
Sigh… this one keeps falling by the wayside… Hopefully this month, before its too late!!

GET LINDSAY A CAR
Lindsay had an unfortunate accident where her wheel fell off. I want to help her get back on the road (or hopefully move somewhere we wont have to 😉 )
This one will haunt me until I get it done! No excuses this month, just order em!

Done + done. We can’t wait to kick back in Iceland!
WORK ON ELLIE’S MANNERS
We did work really hard at this. She still has a way to go but she successfully learned how to bark on command and is getting great with “Quiet”.
YOGA + CARDIO for 30 MINUTES A DAY
Um, NOPE. We did good with cardio at the beginning of the month but late work nights and preparing dinner each night ate into our time. We will try to keep this at the front of our to-do list though.
START PLANNING 2017 TRAVEL
We have some vague ideas but it’s time to start organizing exactly what we need to do for our trips this year.
FINISH ORGANIZING CLOTHES
Both of us are going to try to get closer to a capsule wardrobe of sorts. Next month we’d like to finally let go of unnecessary clothing items.
We are all about trying out winter camping. The plan would be to find a spot to sleep in our car for a night or weekend. If not, we would like to keep hiking!
