January turns to February and the world keeps keeps turning. Here’s what I was up to last week.

MONDAY

A typical Monday yielded typical weekly photo recap results. I’ve been trying to stay organized and on top of my to-do list so I spent the evening working through it. Here’s a few snapshots:

TUESDAY

Since my car is dead (RIP) Jason has been driving me into work in the mornings. I was looking out of the car window on Tuesday and noticed a few of the warehouse buildings near me appeared to have some pretty interesting graffiti tags on them. I haven’t been making my usual run home to walk the dog on lunch so I decided to do some minor exploring – time permitting.

I only got to check out one of the buildings but I found a couple surprisingly vibrant, colorful tags –

WEDNESDAY

After work on hump day, Jason and I took Ellie out around the neighborhood by bike. We practiced some off leash training while Jason mountain biked and she did a great job keeping up.

Dog on a Log 2017 Pt. 2 –

THURSDAY

When we were out biking the day prior, I took notice to an area on the walk path that I hadn’t paid much attention to before. This small area by the water that had previously looked like a rocky shelf now had a very visible shoreline. I took the dog down along the river and was stunned. The shore was accessible for much longer than I thought and we were able to capture some beautiful skyline shots at sunset.

FRIDAY

I couldn’t wait for the work week to finally come to a close (broken record?) In the evening, we met up with our BFFs at RHouse, ate a badass chicken sandwich from BRD, drank fancy cocktails and ranted about everything that’s wrong in the world til we lost our voices. Hello, weekend.

SATURDAY

Jason and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary by celebrating my birthday hahaha. We’ll be in Iceland next week to actually celebrate our anniversary so we decided to celebrate my birthday with friends this weekend.

We started our day grabbing a late breakfast with Jess + Rob at Zeke’s.

Food consumed:

• Cinnamon Bun
• Cheese Danish
• Cream Cheese + Lox Bagel Sandwich

SUNDAY

Sunday was catch-up day but thankfully I didn’t have to meal plan so I was able to finish doing all of the cleaning and laundry that I needed to get done.

I started organizing and photographing for my upcoming Capsule Wardrobe post –

And packing for Iceland!! –

I’m looking forward to chilling out up North this upcoming week!
