I wasn’t as snap-happy as usual last week so this recap isn’t terribly meaty. But let us continue with the tradition for traditions sake.

MONDAY

The beginning of the week started with beautiful weather for once. I woke up early and was productive at work but had to handle some stressful house-related issues later in the day. You win some, you lose some. Also, coffee!

TUESDAY

Jason went for a bike ride after work so Ellie and I did our usual exploring around Patapsco.

WEDNESDAY

We were planning on going to event after work that ended up being rescheduled so it seemed like Wednesday night was going to contain some unexpected free time. We ended up doing a bunch of stuff around the house and other miscellaneous tasks before defaulting to Chinese takeout.

THURSDAY

I was soooo tired all day which was quite fitting as it was the day I had the most to do. After a busy work day, Jason + I had a meeting with our realtor and later on I podcasted for what felt like the first time in forever.

On an unrelated note – We recently had to get a big tree in our backyard cut down because it was very dead and dangerous. Unfortunately, it was Ellie’s favorite shade spot and now I can’t tell if she is embracing the new stump or laying on it in protest.

FRIDAY

We spent the evening kicking back with friends in Fells Point. First is was drinks and tacos at Barcocina:

Next it was around the corner for more drinks and celebration –

What a good lookin’ bunch.

And with the help of an older gentleman and a telescope – I saw Saturn!

SATURDAY

The start to our super hot weekend in Baltimore. I didn’t feel like doing anything thanks to the heat and a weird shoulder/neck crick I obtained the day prior. I spent pretty much all day editing photos and listening to 20/20 episodes off Youtube. In the evening, we met up with friends to see a flick at the Charles theater after having a brief cocktail precursor.

SUNDAY

I had made a vow to meal plan this week so Jason helped me get my butt in gear all day. We cleaned up around the house, made the necessary grocery runs and I was able to meal prep a week of lunches and dinners while Jason took the dog out biking. I ran myself right to the edge of the clock before booking it over to our friend’s house to indulge in my new favorite Sunday night Twin Peaks tradition.
