I can’t believe another week has gone by already! Despite being particularly busy, I took a lot of photos this week. Let’s go!
THE WEEK OF JULY 17, 2017
MONDAY
One thing I’ve found quite interesting while doing these recaps is how easy it is to distance moments from memory. The start of the week prior always feels like its a million miles away until I reflect on it in the post. I like being able to take a second and appreciate what happened in retrospect.
Last Monday, Jason and I took a much needed stress break at Loch Raven for quick hike & bike.
TUESDAY
We spent some time Tuesday evening with Jason’s sister at Pho Viet chatting about fun trips we’d love to take and enjoying a tasty meal (and Vietnamese coffee mmmmmmm.)
WEDNESDAY
I can’t say that last week was anything but hectic and stressful. During the actual work week, I didn’t have a lot of time to breathe or relax so when the Miss Twist truck rolled around the neighborhood right when I was getting home from work, I knew it was fate.
Does anyone else feel like a kid again whenever they eat soft serve?
THURSDAY
Sorry to break it to you, but there wasn’t anything noteworthy to report from Thursday either. Jason and I did manage to order and then successfully binge a pizza though.
FRIDAY
The weekend, for the most part, was the fun kind of busy! It was Artscape weekend which is an annual event in Baltimore that is actually America’s largest free arts festival. I always try to spend time there so this year I went down Friday evening to get food and hear some bands perform.
Here’s a small selection of snapshots (more to come in another post):
SATURDAY
We had a TON of household chores to knock out so we work up early and started the day off with a delicious veggie omelette wraps.
After an entire day spent cleaning and organizing, we were excited to meet up with friends at Waverly Brewing Company to finally check out the Donut Alliance pop up shop.
SUNDAY
We visited the artist stalls at Artscape Sunday morning and enjoyed some iced beverages.
Later we finally stopped into Second Chance a giant warehouse full of salvaged building materials and furniture. It’s overwhelming and full of fun inspiration!
I have a bunch of photos from Artscape weekend so I decide to feature the rest in a separate post. Keep your eyes peeled for that to pop up later this week!
What was the highlight of your week?
