Weekly Photo Recap: Cool

Posted on September 11, 2017 by Lindsay

The cool temps are helping to bring in a bit of calm to my hectic daily routine. Here’s a quick look back at my last week in photos.

THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 04, 2017

MONDAY

Labor Day was spent knocking out as much renovation work as we could. I remembered at the last minute to snap a crappy camera phone photo of my delicious dinner from Lauraville BBQ House. Have I mentioned yet that the best part of our new place are all of the awesome delivery options?

TUESDAY

I had a nice break from house work in the evening at the IT press screening. If you’re interested in hearing my thoughts on the flick you can check out my review here!

WEDNESDAY

Jason and I spent a hefty amount of time working through the plans for the bathroom remodel which was trickier than anticipated. We have a good idea on the structure now but I think I may have woke up every day last week thinking about shower stalls and tile options.

In other news, I’ve been trying to proactively put together my pack for an upcoming Europe trip and was happy to find some leftover remnants from our visit to Iceland last winter.

THURSDAY

We spent the rainy evening grabbing sushi at a new spot – Yama Sushi Bar. I loved the adorable tea mug.

FRIDAY

Ellie had a vet appointment and afterwards got to hang out with her favorite dog pack.

Later, I started to unearth some fun finds that had been packed away.

SATURDAY

Started the day off with a BREAKFAST SANDWICH FROM GROUND & GRIDDLED <3

The entire weekend was spent getting organized and wrapping up miscellaneous projects. Jason did an awesome job setting up a tool center in the basement!

SUNDAY

We were super productive on Sunday but most of my photos are of food (shocking!)

Breakfast at Paper Moon:

Thai iced coffee from Thai Landing.

What was the highlight of your week?
