Finally! All caught up with the recaps. Here’s what happened LAST week:

MONDAY

Spent the evening watching my favorite band (Brand New) play a show in a fancy theater (Hippodrome). An unusual venue but still a stellar performance.

TUESDAY

Enjoyed hanging with the dog and walking around in the gorgeous weather.

Later: Ate dinner at Hilo Poké & Sushi.

WEDNESDAY

Snapped some crappy cell phone pics in the morning because Fall is the best season.

THURSDAY

Headed over to my parents after work for a doggie play date.

My dad started grilling but I needed to get home for the weekly meal at Blacksauce.

This week, Jason ate the Oyster Po Boy and I scarfed down the beef short ribs.

FRIDAY

Jason and I finished up some reno work before we headed over to Marc’s house to get started on Stranger Things Season 2!

SATURDAY

Woke up early and treated ourselves to a pancake breakfast.

We spent the day attending our friends’ wedding! The ceremony was at the elegant Baltimore Basilica.

We took a quick coffee break (thanks Dooby’s!) at the Washington Monument in Mount Vernon.

The wedding reception was held at the American Visionary Art Museum. I haven’t been there in a while so it was cool to check out some of the Baltimore exhibits in the lobby.

Jason and I had a great time drinking and dancing the night away (til my heels gave out!) Thanks again to Jeanine & GC for letting us share in your special day!

SUNDAY

The wild weekend was over. It was time to get back to the renovation (and cleaning 🙁 ) But first, donuts.
