Weekly Photo Recap: Thanks

Posted on November 28, 2017 by Lindsay

This week’s photos are a pretty accurate portrayal of how the week went. Lots of camera phone snapshots and photos of sweaters. Here we go!

THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 20th, 2017

MONDAY

I had to stop to take a photo of the trees on my block because I’m just so into the Autumn colors that have been lingering around. I’ll be a bit sad when all of the leaves finally fall.

Otherwise it was a typical Monday. Big sweaters + coffee. Later in the evening, Jess and I had a screening date at The Charles to see The Disaster Artist. Review coming soon to French Toast Sunday.

TUESDAY

Jason was able to get a lot of renovation work done during the week. I worked late and helped out when I got off. The windows in the back room got back some of their new trim.

For dinner, we grabbed some delicious pho before heading to Home Depot for the 170th time this month.

WEDNESDAY

Jason said Ellie was very helpful during renovation work. Clearly.

After we finished up a bunch of random tasks, we made it out to dinner with friends. Jason and I ended the night with a drink, curled up in bed discussing bathroom design. A wild Wednesday for sure.

THURSDAY

Happy Turkey Day! I did what I always do on Thanksgiving – spent the day with family, ate too much food and eventually passed out. I did such a crappy job taking photos. My biggest regret is that I failed to photograph any of the many, many pieces of pie I ate.

FRIDAY

I picked up a new hoodie from the thrift store that I find personally hilarious.

I also noticed that my plaid blanket collection is still solid.

Later on, Jason helped a friend with some renovation work and I got to hang out with a bunch of lovely people. Solid Friday!

SATURDAY

More renovation work! This week’s special shout definitely goes to Jason’s aunt for taking on the tedious task of finishing drywall. Meanwhile, these paint samples reminded me of the ridiculous amount of decisions we still have to make.

We made our way over to Second Chance to look for a few things and ended up scoring a fantastic window at a great price. I can’t wait to show everyone how we are going to use it!

Finally, we ended the night stuffing ourselves with Indian food from Bombay Nights and checking out the amazing film Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri. I think it’s definitely my favorite movie of the year so far.

SUNDAY

Organizing. Drywall. IKEA. Etc. It can be hard to see the bigger picture sometimes but we have made a lot of progress on the house and are more organized than ever.

A long day ended with hot chocolate in my PJs. Not bad.

What was the highlight of your week?
