Weekly Photo Recap: Color

Sorry I’m late. Please enjoy these photos from last week.

THE WEEK OF MAY 7th, 2018

MONDAY

The week started off with a few good omens – First, our lovely vintage pendant light arrived in the mail! I can’t wait to see this beauty shine.

Second – we picked up a cute mid-century slat table from a free Craigslist curb alert! I needs a good cleaning (probably should have done that before snapping this photo) and some touching up but otherwise it’s a great find.

TUESDAY

I have a terrible picture to share of our delicious dinner – we ended up cooking every night of the week though which is a huge accomplishment for us!

WEDNESDAY

It was so lovely out that on lunch Ellie and I finished playtime by relaxing in the shade.

THURSDAY

I cleaned and organized the bedroom a bit – I’ve been trying to take more time to enjoy our renovation work (and snuggle, of course.)

FRIDAY

While stopping over my parents house I noticed they had this wonderful vintage magazine just hanging out on the table. Another score for my home decor collection.

SATURDAY

Another busy weekend. I drank a cold brew and hung out with Ellie in the window seat before doing a bit of cleaning around the house.

Then I made my way over to the Pile of Craft fair (hosted by Charm City Craft Mafia) Once again, I picked up some great goodies.

I had a hard time deciding on a print from Sarah Robbins Draws – I’m in love with all of it!

I also adore this air plant hanging I picked up from Ore & Wool. I can’t wait to display it in the office.

Afterwards it was time for REMFEST – a neighborhood celebration featuring food, live music and more local vendors.

The festival was wonderful and made me feel such pride for my new neighborhood. Also, we had a chance to have Ekiben in our backyard so that was definitely a major treat.

The rest of the day we put up drywall and then had a great time getting dinner and drinks with our best friends.

SUNDAY

Woke up pretty early but I really didn’t want to disturb any of the cuddle sessions that were occurring.

We did more reno work in the bathroom and since the office is ready to paint I wasted a few minutes daydreaming about where I’m going to put plants.

Eventually, I made it over to my parents house for Mother’s Day and spent the evening gabbing with my mom. My dad made us lobster for dinner and I was ALL ABOUT IT.

What was the highlight of your week?
