MONDAY

Jason wrapped up some of his “Backyard Refresher” project from the weekend. Truthfully it was just the first step in a long number of steps we will have to go through to get the back patio where it needs to be but cleaning out and filling in all of the concrete cracks was no easy feat.

He did a fantastic job. I’m eternally grateful he took the reigns on this project.

TUESDAY

I’m still trying to figure out what art pieces to display and where. It would probably be wise to wait until the house is renovated before thinking that far ahead but I can’t help myself. Anyway, I went through this stack of old tarot cards and had a difficult time choosing which ones were my favorite.

WEDNESDAY

Not too much to report on throughout the week. The days played out in a typical fashion. Ellie is still very much enjoying her status in the office.

THURSDAY

I’ve been ordering some fun stuff recently, mainly for the house, and finally picked up some goodies from Brandless. BFF Jess told me about the site a while back – essentially they source and sell quality household goods without the “brand name” prices. Everything in the store is $3 and honestly, I actually just like the idea of everything looking so nice and uniform. Speaking of…

FRIDAY

My bathroom labels finally arrived! I designed a few custom labels to go on all of the amber bottles I picked up for the new bathroom. They look pretty snazzy on the bottles so I’m excited to see how they come together in the finished bathroom.

SATURDAY

Back to working on the house! We focused on the bathroom for most of the day and installed the plank wall in what I am dubbing “the toilet cove.”

I’m looking forward to finishing everything off with trim and I can’t believe I’m even typing this – getting ready to paint everything!

SUNDAY

We spent the majority of the day picking up reno supplies (which you know is just my absolute fav thing ever) but we needed a few more things for the bathroom and our next rapidly approaching project – the stairwell. I’m dreading the stairwell because it’s not exactly a fun space to work in. Jason and I came to a middle ground on how to tackle it and hopefully our ideas will pay off.

In the meantime, we also finally slapped up the bulletin board on the other office wall and I love it. We still have to install the trim but I am already so excited to fill the space with art.
