Weekly Photo Recap: Downstairs

The renovation is in full swing on the main floor of the townhouse!

THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 26th, 2018

MONDAY

In an attempt to put the kitchen back together, we started working on fitting the open shelving and deciding on various outlet options.

TUESDAY

I wasn’t the best at taking photos this week. I guess my mind was elsewhere most of the time. Of course, I always manage to snap a few pics of Ellie loving life.

WEDNESDAY

I spent the evening at the movies with my niece and nephew but not before caulking window trim and filling nail holes.

THURSDAY

I’m not exaggerating when I say that we have been trying to devote all of our free time to finishing the bulk of the renovation work. I spent Thursday evening painting the bottom planks of the stairwell. Almost there…

FRIDAY

We organized downstairs and prepped the kitchen wall in order to start fitting in the shelving. Hanging long, load-bearing shelves is not an easy task!

The pantry is taking shape! I can’t wait to see this area of the kitchen once everything is complete.

SATURDAY

Despite my best efforts to stay away, I had another donut for breakfast.

We teamed up to hang the shelves and they fit the space quite well!

By the end of the day, I started getting to work on the living room window trim and wall. Here are some BEFORE photos, just keep that in mind…

They are in rough shape but hopefully I can work some magic.

SUNDAY

Coffee & treats thanks to Bird in the Hand.

Another long day but we accomplished a good deal. I wonder when I’ll get a chance to sleep again.

What was the highlight of your week?
