Weekly Photo Recap: Pep

Time keeps moving and preventing me from catching up on my recaps. Here’s what was happening a few weeks ago:

THE WEEK OF MAY 13th, 2019

MONDAY

I started the never ending task of sorting through personal paperwork. Fascinating stuff. Special shout out to ANXO ciders for becoming a new household fixture.

I also finally got around to picking up some new Mount Royal Soaps!

TUESDAY

Ellie kept trying to sneak in some tug of war at work.

Eventually, she settled for some outdoor fun.

Later on, I reached my peak excitement level attending the John Wick 3 press screening. I’m a huge fan of the series so far and this film somehow exceeded my insanely high expectations.

WEDNESDAY

New shower plant alert! Thanks, B. Willow.

Jason and I also whipped up a very tasty ravioli courtesy of Hello Fresh.

THURSDAY

Just me + my gurl.

My other gurl Allison took me to a meditation yoga class over at Movement Lab to help me de-stress. I was feeling a little nervous and self conscious but I’m so glad I went. I definitely feel like I need to get outside my comfort zone more often. Especially if it leads to cocktails at RHouse afterwards.

FRIDAY

After work on Friday, Jason and I were headed to DC! It’s been a while since I’ve seen the inside of beautiful Penn Station.

I was feeling cute in my new favorite tee – a bridesmaid gift from Jess aka the best bride.

The neighborhood we stayed in was a mix of gorgeous architecture and curb appeal.

We spent the evening at a show and eventually headed back to our hotel room to pass out.

SATURDAY

We decided to spend the day exploring DC. Wearing this dress I scooped up from Spoiled Rotten Vintage always puts me in a good mood. The same can be said for my super cute travel partner.

First on the agenda was breakfast at Founding Farmers.

I couldn’t resist taking a selfie in this cheery sunflower bathroom.

We spent most of the day walking around and checking out shops.

Lot of goodies seen at Joint Custody + Meeps Vintage

Iced lattes at Three Fifty + home decor at GoodWood.

Always finding bright spots in Adams Morgan.

Speaking of bright spots, Jeni’s is always a perfect option.

The fun and funky Miss Pixie’s was one of my favorite shop stops of the day.

We visited the ANXO Cidery to try out even more of their ciders.

I highly recommend checking them out.

After indulging, we made our way to Union Station and headed back to Baltimore.

Always happy for this reunion 🙂

SUNDAY

Jason and I took our dog walk to Golden West again for more breakfast pies.

We worked outside doing some yard work and other miscellaneous tasks. I was able to sand down the coffee table and now I’m more excited than ever to finish staining it.

Meanwhile, Ellie made new friends with the neighbors dog and I could barely handle the cuteness.

We finished the weekend off with Marc’s insane cooking and a disappointing series finale of Game of Thrones.

What was the highlight of your week?

You look super cute in your Girls shirt!!

I really want to get down to DC this summer- and I got really excited now that I know there’s a Jeni’s there now! You know I love my Jeni’s. Also, Miss Pixie’s is such a cute store. I’ve happened upon there before.

Thank you! You have great taste.

& Yes! as soon as I saw Jeni’s I started retelling the story you told me about their package design! I would be very into the idea of more DC day trips 🙂
