How is it the end of the year already?! I still have a backlog of recaps!

MONDAY

Jason and I were hosting a Murder Mystery party later in the week so we started prepping the props.

Ellie tried on the detective hat 🙂

TUESDAY

Hex Ferments has some mighty fine kombucha. This Lemon Drop flavor was the bees knees.

WEDNESDAY

Jason and I met up with Jess and Rob for dinner and drinks at Dylan’s Oyster Cellar.

Afterwards, Julie joined us for a night at the Senator.

THURSDAY

Happy Thanksgiving! I don’t have any fancy food pics but please enjoy these photos of Ellie and Luna.

FRIDAY

Nothing like a nice cocktail at the end of the week to unwind…

Followed by a bunch of house cleaning!

SATURDAY

The day was finally here! Our Roaring 20s themed Murder Mystery party! The decorations were up and the food spread was out.

After a lot of research, we ended up using Night of Mystery as our party blueprint and we had an absolute BLAST! Here’s a bunch of stylized photos from the evenings festivities.

It was so much fun handing out awards and “solving” the mystery at the end of the night.

The party could seriously not have went better. We are already excited to plan another one next year!

SUNDAY

I was pretty happy to see the dishwasher full of fancy glassware 🙂

Overall, we had a lowkey day hanging at home – a great cap to the weekend!
