I am determined to wrap up these recaps before the year is over!
THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 16th, 2019
MONDAY
It was Ellie’s last night before she went in for surgery to get her teeth cleaned and have a suspicious mole removed. We tried to play and run as much as possible before she was sentenced to 10 days of low activity and bed rest.
TUESDAY
Surgery went well but Ellie was confused by her new t-shirt and pain meds.
WEDNESDAY
My sore throat kicked back up so I worked from home with a prescription of tea, pets and later on some soup.
THURSDAY
One of my new favorite things to do is hang out at the kitchen island when Jason makes dinner. I really love the latest island addition – this amazing candle from 228 Grant Street.
Home cooked lamb chops ๐
FRIDAY
After bundling up the dog, we headed over to Rob and Jess’ for our new yearly tradition of cookies, brews and board games.
SATURDAY
We started the morning off strong with a new blend from Thread Coffee Roasters.
Jason and I had great day climbing followed by an overstuffed dinner at Wicked Sisters.
Before evening activities, I snapped some photos from an old “fortune telling” book from 1910 that my mom gave me. The book is a fun way to keep track of birthdays and share with your friends.
SUNDAY
Spent the day with my niece and nephew jumping around Sky Zone! Super fun but quite the workout. ๐
Afterwards, Jason dragged me to Home Depot so I spent my time snapping photos of him.
What was the highlight of your week?
