Austin, TX has a lot to offer including a wide variety of tasty coffee spots. Check out our list for inspiration on great Austin coffee shops you should visit.
BUZZMILL
Maybe my favorite coffee shop I’ve ever been to, Buzzmill is a 24 hour bar and coffee shop combo with a friendly staff, eclectic mix of people and intense log cabin decor. It’s slightly outside of the downtown area but 100% worth the short walk if you’re up for it.
THUNDERBIRD COFFEE
Both our hot and iced options we had at Thunderbird totally hit the spot and made it the best last minute stop before catching our flight out.
FLAT TRACK COFFEE
The badass people at Flat Track love all things coffee, dogs and adventure. Do I need to say anything else to convince you to stop by for a cup? I didn’t think so.
HALCYON
The super chill vibes surrounding Halcyon make it the perfect mid day spot to stop at. The fact that you can roast marshmallows for S’mores and sip Chocolate Espresso Martinis make it heaven on Earth.
JO’S COFFEE
Most famous for the “i love you so much” street art on the side of the building, Jo’s also serves up one tasty cup of coffee, both hot and cold.
FAST FOLKS CYCLERY
Need a new part for your bike? Why not stop into Fast Folks so you can shop for your ride and grab some coffee while you’re at it.
WALTON’S FANCY AND STAPLE
Walton’s is a great place to go for many things including fresh breads, gourmet sandwiches, sweet treats and all your floral needs. It’s a fantastic place to stop for a late breakfast (or what the kids are calling “Brunch”) and a nice coffee or espresso.
CUVEE COFFEE
The staff wasn’t the most welcoming when I visited Cuvee but the seasonal coffee drink I tried was dynamite. Also, there were a bunch of cool dogs hanging out on the patio so…I was sold.
VINTAGE HEART COFFEE
This would be my go to spot if I lived in Austin. The coffee was one of the best brews we had in town but the laid back and friendly atmosphere at Vintage Heart made the shop jump to the top of my list.
