We keep our tour of Paris, France going with a lot more sightseeing and tasty grub.
Today we decided to take a nice jaunt around the city and check out some of the markets around town. We went to Rue Mouffetard – one of Paris’s oldest neighborhoods known for it’s regular open market.
As usual in Paris, the streets were lined with great architecture.
We dropped in Le Fournil de Mouffetard for our first stop.
Everywhere you looked your eyes were filled with amazing pastries, bread, and delicious sandwiches.
After debating what sweet treat to indulge in we finally made our decisions…a delectable creme brule for Lindsay (with a coffee of course)
And a super tasty eclair and coffee for myself!
We also had to snag a “snagel” to go.
After our little pastry break we were ready for our next stop. We took a nice walk through a wonderful neighborhood, admiring architecture once again.
We eventually arrived at Luxembourg Palace. The building was very impressive and the gardens were great to stroll through.
These tremendous walk ways seemed to go on forever.
I’m so glad we came in the Fall because we were treated to some incredible colors and great weather.
The day didn’t stop there, in fact, we jammed in a lot more. Look out for part two of the day in an upcoming post.
