We continue our regular feature profiling our favorite places to grab a cup of coffee. Take a look at Zeke’s Coffee in Baltimore and then check out more Coffee Break posts.

I’m very excited to finally profile my favorite coffee shop in Baltimore.

Zeke’s Coffee is the city’s staple coffee roaster and their cafe location in Hamilton is one of the best places to enjoy cup of one of their magical brews.

The shop is cozy but usually a bustling place filled with locals working on their laptops or catching up with friends. I was lucky to get a few shots on a quiet summer day when Zeke’s was open late for a special event.

Inside the sweets display case you’ll find shelves of delicious goodies from local vendors, including the nearby Hamilton Bakery.

The special event I mentioned earlier was Hamilton First Friday – a monthly neighborhood celebration that welcomes everyone to check out the shops and restaurants in the area. Zeke’s was having an Ice Cream Social featuring Prigel Family Creamery ice cream and housemade Ice Cream Sandwiches. ‪Jason and I had been meaning to pick up new beans and we were more than happy to stop in during the fun.

Their iced coffee is so good. Perfect on a hot, sunny day.

Zeke’s is just as pleasant in the winter. There’s nothing like curling up in the corner with a hot cup of coffee and a warmed up pastry.

And if you want to try out a staple menu item, Jason and I LOVE the cream cheese and lox on an everything bagel.

Zeke’s coffee is the best in the city and their shop has it all – a great selection of pastries, delicious food and plenty of other tasty options from awesome Baltimore vendors (like Dangerously Delicious Pies!) It’s a great place to go if you want to get a feel for the city with a heavy dose of caffeine.
