Last week was terribly busy for Jason and I so you’re just going to have to deal with the measly portions in this recap post.

MONDAY

First thing Monday morning I noticed my neighbors cat had moved to the front porch for lounging. For whatever reason, she apparently prefers the chair on our porch more so she has been laying by our front window all week. I don’t really get along with cats but this one can hang around as long as she wants.

TUESDAY

Jason was able to join me for lunch so we did what any responsible adults do and ate pie from Richardson’s Farms.

WEDNESDAY

The big reason this week was so busy was that we are finally moving! It’s been a whirlwind of packing tape and cardboard boxes and Ellie is not sure what to make of this whole thing.

THURSDAY

FRIDAY

We had tickets to see a show Friday night but our plans were almost thwarted by the flash flood downpour in Baltimore. Thankfully, the weather cleared up long enough for us to get down to the venue.

I finally got to see Andrew McMahon and all of my High School dreams came true. He played a long, amazing set featuring songs throughout his entire career and I was finally able to experience the voice of one of my favorite singers that I’ve been a fan of for nearly half my life. I was so thankful that I was able to make it out to the show. Here are some terrible cell phone photos to commemorate the event.

SATURDAY

I woke up early despite my previous late night and went to the store for some house stuff and of course donuts for the whole family.

(I love that you can kinda see Ellie’s little face through the donut hole.)

When the weather cleared up a bit, Jason and I ran some errands and took Ellie for a fun swim and hangout session with her favorite furry friends.

Later on, we caught up with some friends and stayed up WAY too late talking about everything wrong with the world. So… the usual.

SUNDAY

Woke up too early again so we could keep on our packing/cleaning schedule. We scored big off Craigslist and now we have pretty much all of our furniture boxes checked off. Mid-day we joined all of our favorite people to say goodbye to one of our friends that is moving out of state. It was a lovely day with great weather and the absolute best company. It felt so good to step out of our crazy house full of moving boxes.
