More recaps from times before quarantine.
THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 17th, 2020
MONDAY
I made a big decision in February to quit my office job and focus on opening up my own online vintage store. It had been a long time in the making and ultimately I realized that I needed to make a final leap.
I started working on going through my product inventory at the house which was pretty exciting. I quickly realized I have a lot of kitschy odds & ends.
I also think Bean enjoys me hanging out with her at home.
TUESDAY
I also started my new side job walking dogs! The dogs are amazing and I really enjoy exploring the beautiful Mt. Washington neighborhoods.
I started doing some regular thrift runs to stores I’ve never been to before. I wish I had more room to store furniture.
WEDNESDAY
Mr. Bones tried out to be a dress form model.
THURSDAY
Jason made a delicious dinner. Gimme all them baby carrots.
FRIDAY
Ground & Griddled just giving me the cutest lattes over here.
Later in the evening, a group of us got together to watch the finale of a cancelled reality show that originally aired in 2007. Oh you haven’t heard or Kid Nation? It’s a reality show in which 40 children aged 8 to 15 are sent to an abandoned ghost town without parental supervision and tasked with creating a functioning society. It’s insane.
We celebrated with a junk food dinner.
All of the episodes for Kid Nation are currently available to watch on YouTube and I highly suggest that you do so at your earliest convenience.
SATURDAY
Spent Saturday morning walking in the woods with a few wild pups.
SUNDAY
Just a snoozy Sunday & another sleepy Bean pic.
What was the highlight of your week?
